History

The company was started by Rob Connacher in 1971 and was and still is based in Port Elizabeth.

Initially AJR CONNACHER was only involved in Scoured , Carbonised wool and Wool Tops doing business in the USA , Europe , Middle and Far East as well as locally. Over the years we diversified into products suitable for the Blanket and Non Woven industry locally and abroad.

Stuart (son) joined the company in 1987 further broadening the company's involvement in the Blanket industry as well as all related users.

The company has remained active and family owned through the years continually looking for new markets and opportunities in the Textile Industry.
